Hi, I’m Debbie Erikson, founder of Little Blessing Institute, homeschool mom, and creator of faith-based educational resources for families who want safe, meaningful learning at home.
My husband and I made the decision to homeschool our children because we wanted something different for their education—something more personal, flexible, and rooted in our values. What began as a leap of faith turned into one of the greatest blessings of our lives.
I started homeschooling my daughter around the age of 10 and my son from the very beginning, and we continued homeschooling for 12 wonderful years. Through that journey, God taught me patience, flexibility, and how to trust Him more each day.
Today, my daughter is thriving in a top-level customer service leadership role with The Walt Disney Company, and my son serves as an operations manager in retail—proof that homeschool students can grow into capable, successful adults.
Now as an empty nester, my faith and heart are compelling me to pass along the lessons, encouragement, and resources I’ve learned through the years to help other parents on their homeschool journey.
